Ukulele Wolves - Llanishen, Cardiff, Glamorgan

Welcome to the Facebook group for the Ukulele Wolves, Cardiff’s friendliest uke jam!

We start at 7:30 with a short tutorial session, where we explore some different techniques and work to perfect some of the trickier bits in our songs. From 8 – 10 we jam, playing songs from our songbook. You’re welcome to come just for the jam, if you prefer.

We welcome players of all levels and abilities. Although we are not a teaching group, you will find many people willing and able to offer tips and advice. There may also be a spare ukulele available for you to use for the evening, if you don’t yet have your own.

We play occasional gigs, usually for charity or to entertain at the likes of care homes, and are often invited to play in ukulele events orgainsed by other groups. We also have our own festival, held in St David’s Hall every year. Attendance at gigs and events is voluntary, although we encourage everyone to take part.
