Informal Meet - Tonight !!!

Don't forget anyone interested in an informal meet to discuss the group (ie songs / meetings etc) then we will be in The Newton Pub (Dalton) at 7-30pm on Thursday 28th Feb. There have been a few venue ideas put forward - so hopefully we can discuss them and sort out a regular meeting location and dates.

Following a bit of trial and error with a metronome last night, have come to the conclusion that the following speeds are roughly right for the three songs we are learning - will try and put together a backing track at the following speeds for people to try :-
Valerie (Amy Winehouse) - 160bpm
Come on Eileen (Dexy's Midnight Runners) - 166bpm
Fisherman's Blues (The Waterboys) - 128bpm

Song sheets for the first three songs have now been uploaded, 3 versions of Come on Eileen (Dexy's Midnight Runners) have been uploaded, one contains all lyrics, the other two contain just the lyrics for groups 1 and 2 respectively (some players had concerns that the song sheet with all lyrics was hard to follow)
