Saxon Shore strummers (U3a) - Herne Bay , Kent

We're the Saxon Shore U3a strummers! It's a friendly group of ukulele players who meet on a weekly basis each Thursday between 2 and 4pm as part of U3a activities. You do need to be a member of U3a to participate but this brings all sorts of other benefits and is remarkably cheap (currently less than 50p a week)

U3a is a social and educational group for retired people - believe it or not, over the UK we have more members than the WI (and in Herne Bay/ Whitstable we have 500 plus)
